Summer Child Care at the

Rome Family YMCA

Amid the Coronavirus Pandemic, we have seen so many of our vital community programs and businesses closed.  The YMCA knows how valuable Summer Child Care is to the parents and youth we serve.  Child Care at the Y is where our youth are able to express themselves, make friends and build lifelong relationships.

We are planning our summer NOW and registering participants both online or by mailing in your child's registration form along with a $50 deposit that will be applied to your child's last week attending as long as they attend all weeks registered for.

We will follow all recommendations provided by the NYS Department of Health and the Office of Children and Family Services to ensure your child has not only a fun summer, but a safe and healthy one as well.  We have been given the go-ahead from our licensing agency to run programming.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and the extended closure of the YMCA facility- we have a limited capacity for our Summer Day Camp program this year.  We are only accepting full-time registrations (participants that are attending Monday-Friday, full days).  Open spots will be prioritized to those that are attending full time and are paid in-full, weekly.  In addition, we have a limited ability to accept DSS and financial assistance participants.  We are working hard to be able to accommodate as many participants as possible while meeting our mission.
