Group Exercise Classes
YMCA Group Exercise Programs bring together health-seekers of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels in a fun, supportive environment where they move, groove and sweat their way toward better well-being. The YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley offers more than 40 different classes each week and continuously launches new classes to meet the unique needs of our members.
All group exercise classes are included with a YMCA membership. Our members are encouraged to use their membership at either location where they find classes that best suit their schedules and interests.

Cardio
Barre uses a unique blend of ballet, pilates, and yoga to sculpt and tone the body while being gentle on joints. This low-impact method focuses on small, controlled movements to improve strength, flexibility, and endurance. Enhance posture and gain muscle definition.

Strength
Challenge yourself with this fast-paced, calorie-blasting workout, using the traditional group training Boot Camp style approach. Boot Camp geared toward all fitness levels. Modifications are always offered for the beginner to the advanced.

Aquatic
Aqua Motion is a aerobic, moderate-impact, shallow water exercise class. This class uses active movement, barbells and noodles to build strength and tone the body to music that keeps you engaged in the work!

Mind, Body & Spirit
Blended yoga is a unique and invigorating class that blends the mind-body benefits of traditional yoga with the strength and conditioning elements of TRX, resistance bands, and weights. This innovative class is designed to challenge and inspire all participants of all fitness levels, offering a comprehensive workout that targets strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness.

Family Classes
Most of our classes may be attended by youth ages 8+ while accompanied by an adult.
Stretching & Balance
This class focuses on lengthening your muscles and strengthening all of the major and minor core muscles. It is designed to improve movement and range of motion and relieve stress.
