YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley

Reiki Services with Nichole Grant

Reiki is a healing practice that balances the body, mind, and spirit by focusing on the seven main chakras: crown, third eye, throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral, and root. When our chakras become unbalanced, we may feel tired, drained, or unwell. Reiki uses universal light energy to cleanse and rebalance these energy centers, typically involving the practitioner placing their hands above or lightly touching the receiver's body.

Nichole Grant is a Reiki Practitioner certified in Level II Usui Reiki. She completed her training in the Spring of 2023 at In Bloom Yoga Studio in New Hartford under the direction of Brandie Kristle Furnis of The Body Oracle. Since then, Nichole has been diligently practicing Reiki and she is ready to share the peaceful gift of Reiki with the YMCA family and Oneida area community.

Reiki Services are offered at our Oneida Family YMCA Branch and provide pricing options for both YMCA Members and Non-Members.

What are the benefits of Reiki?

Physical Healing

Reiki can help the body to heal by releasing stored energy blocks and relieving pain. It can also help aid in healing after an injury or surgery.

Emotional Healing

Reiki can help reduce stress and anxiety, decreasing pain perception. It can also help with emotional distress by allowing healing energy to flow freely throughout the body.

Improved Sleep

Reiki can help you rest more deeply by reducing stress and tension in both the mind and body.

Spiritual Balance

Reiki can create feelings of inner peace, security, and well-being, and can help to develop spiritual balance.

Immune System

Reiki can boost the immune system to help heal more effectively and reduce infections and inflammation within the body.

Support Traditional Medicine

Reiki can be used in combination with traditional medicine practices to better aid treatments in the body.

Please Note: Reiki is not a replacement for traditional medicine rather, a holistic modality that is intended to complement traditional medicine. If you are in need of medical attention please seek assistance from a licensed medical professional.
